The AACP Board of Directors has established the Lucinda L. Maine Transformation Fund to provide opportunities for individuals and organizations to help accelerate change and advance the pharmacy profession. Its mission is to support the AACP Transformation Center in its work to address the need to educate, enhance, expand, and sustain a pharmacy workforce that contributes to medication use optimization and health outcomes.

You can help transform pharmacy education and practice by giving to the Lucinda L. Maine Transformation Fund. With your support, together we can create a world of healthy people and optimize the pharmacy workforce.

About the Transformation Center
The AACP Transformation Center is a unit within AACP’s organizational structure designed to embolden academic pharmacy’s contributions to increase the pace of change in pharmacy education and practice. Its two-pronged mission is:

Accelerate Pharmacy Practice TransformationAccelerate Academic Innovation
Projects and collaboration models that are replicable and most effective in:Pharmacy educational programs that deliver medication use optimization, improve health outcomes and reduce health disparities by:
Improving health outcomesMatching didactic education to clinical training
Reducing health disparities through medication use optimization, chronic disease management, and other pharmacist-provided patient-care servicesbuilding collaborative relationships with other healthcare disciplines
Fostering life-long learning and research

Donations/contributions via check should be made payable to: American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education and designated to the AACP Lucinda L. Maine Transformation Fund and mailed to: 11325 Random Hills Road Suite 360A-105 Fairfax, VA 22030. Please indicate the LLMT Fund in the memo line of the check or include a note specifying the LLMT Fund. AFPE is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code with EIN 53-0214882. Contributions to organizations with 501(c)(3) status may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor to determine the deductibility of this contribution. All donations/contributions collected will be remitted in full to AACP.
